Meet Me - Tripti Choudhary Vaid
“My vision is to empower young people and their families and help them to become more adaptable in society. I believe in honing the potential of every individual and helping them realise their own potential.“
I did my B.A. in Sociology from Delhi University but realised that my heart was in working with mental health. I went on to do an M.Sc. in Applied Psychology from Annamalai University and simultaneously held dance and theatre classes for children. Working in close proximity with children and adolescents made my desire and passion to work in this field even stronger. To further my understanding of this field, I pursued an M.Phil. in Child and Adolescent Psychology from Amity University and started working full fledged in the field of CAMH (Child and Adolescent Mental Health).
I am now a trained Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Psychologist specializing in Emotional Disorders of young people up until the age of 24 years. I have been practicing in Delhi for the last 10 years. I practice at Centre for Child and Adolescent Wellbeing , MP heart clinic and Sant Parmanand Hospital. I have been an International Affiliate member with the American Psychological Association since 2015.
I take both in-person contact sessions and online therapy sessions for individuals and families. I have extensive experience in the trauma-based psychotherapy – Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). My specialty lies in working with young people with Depression, Anxiety, Behavioural issues, Eating Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Fears, Phobias and other psychiatric disorders and psychological concerns.
I hold workshops, lectures and talks on different aspects of raising children in today’s day and age. I love teaching psychology and training young aspirants in the field of child and adolescent psychology. I also conduct a rigorous internship program for Masters level students.
